Pam Ayres at Highgrove Gardens – National Poetry Day, Thursday 3rd October 2019

11th September 2019

Join Pam on National Poetry Day 2019 at the Prince of Wales’ Highgrove Gardens where she will be talking about her long career and, with the same magic that has enchanted her fans for more than four decades, will perform a selection of poems from her new book ‘Up in the Attic’.

Pam will also talk about her passion for wildlife gardening and will be donating her fee to two charities, The Cheltenham Animal Shelter and Nowzad, which helps to rescue dogs and other domestic animals in Afghanistan other war zones.

Pam will be giving two talks – to include either Lunch or Tea – and all guests will receive a signed copy of Pam’s new book ‘Up in the Attic’ which will be published in September 2019.

AN AUDIENCE WITH PAM AYRES

Thursday 3rd October 2019

At this special event to celebrate National Poetry Day, you’ll enjoy an Audience with Pam Ayres savouring either a delicious two-course lunch, or a champagne tea, and a guided tour of the Royal Gardens at Highgrove.

All guests will receive a signed copy of Pam’s new book ‘Up in the Attic’ which will be published in September 2019.

Pam’s new book, ‘Up in the Attic’, is her first new collection since 2013.  From the horror of playing host in ‘The Dinner Party’, and complaints about tableware in ‘Don’t Put My Dinner on the Slate!’, to the poignant ‘Up in the Attic’, and the sadness of wartime ‘Down the Line’, this new collection will tickle and move guests in equal measure.
